40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Pink and Aqua - Ikat

Week 40 of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

This week the prompt is Pink and Aqua and my personal pattern prompt - Ikat

I have only done this pattern once and then it was a very trial and error attempt (see here).

But I am quite happy with how these turned out first time, so without further a do....

Pink and Aqua Sponge Gradient

Now those of you have read my blog, will know that I love the gradient manicure.  It is so simple and easy to do and the effects can indeed be amazing.  I have normally done it with three colours but I have recently seen a lot of two colour gradients and thought why not?  So this is my second two tone take on it.  Truth be told, it looks better on the photos than it did IRL!  Nevertheless I had this on for about five days.  Funnily enough the Aqua on the tips looks/ed purple over the neon pink base.

Items used:
Color Club - Ultra Violet - the neon pink for the base colour - 2 coats
Sinful Colors - Aqua - on the bottom half of the tips. Sponged on lightly
Seche Vite top coat.
