OPI - Purple with a Purpose

This is OPI - Purple with a Purpose. A gorgeous colour and I love it, shame my camera did not capture the colour correctly??Taken with my Pentax Optio camera, that I use for my nail photography, the colour does not come out as is?? What do I have to change on settings to make it right? These two photo's were taken with my mini-corder and the colour is as true to life as can be.

OPI - Vampire State Building & Nail Growth

I am going to try to catch up with manicures worn this past month. You will find two posts per day so that I can catch up!

This first manicure was worn way back on 10th September....

"I decided to wear an "oldie" today. I have not worn this colour in ages and wanted a dark colour and chose this one. I have had it several years and it is still in very good condition, but you can tell that the OPI formula has changed. This was three coats and I still had bald patches. I may have been too impatient applying but I couldn't be bothered to put on another coat and had to be happy with it as is. None the less, I still like this colour. And look at how much my nails have grown in just a month. Yaaayyy! :o)"

Nail Length and Condition

Hello all, sorry for being away for so long, but you know kids and work commitments do sometimes get in the way of my blogging. I hope to be on top of it now. Have some saved manicures to share with you all in the next few days and after that I hope to post my weekly manicures as I do them!

This post is about my nails and the length and condition of them. I have to say that they have been very good this past few months, and have managed to cut them back quite a few times now. They seem to have been growing quite nicely and at quite some pace and am very pleased with them.

These photo's are of them as at 12 August 2010. Not a bad length and the condition is good. There is not much discolouration as I have not worn dark colours so they look quite white?

Then I thought, right start again, and cut them back, and this is the length I end up with. Not a bad length, and I am sure they will grow back.

Sorry for being quiet.....

.... but been the summer holidays, and not been polishing too much. Been trimming my nails down, and now they have grown already! Can't be the sunny weather, we have not had any in the past few weeks here in UK!

I have polished my nails this weekend, and came up with this.
Back to work and school today, so hope to be back in the swing of changing my nails on a weekly basis. Thanks to all fellow bloggers for their blogging. I have been reading loads on here and lots of inspiration, loads on my wish list, shame most brands like china glaze, color club, catrice, essence, zoya and many more are either too expensive or not available here in the UK. Take care and be back soon.
