Orange Plaid - Inspired by Polish2Times

22 January 2013
This manicure was inspired by Polish2Times.  She did it on all nails,  I chose 2 accent nails and she used a white for one of the plaid stripes (I used a pale yellow in the plaid).  I also changed the shape of my nails to an oval as they were so short as I broke a few!  I quite like them in this colour not sure if I like the shape overall all though.  What do you think?
Then a few days later I saw this beautiful manicure and just had to try it out before I changed my polish.  I used a darker orange for the pinky finger which turned out really pretty.  For the others I used an unknown dark brown/black colour, not a bad effect.  I will have to do the Nailwish manicure soon though as it is so beautiful and really easy.
Itesm Used:
OPI Nail Envy
Seche Vite
China Glaze - Peachy Keen
Acrylic Paint

  1. I like the orange plaid. This reminds me of a Creamsicle. Or was it called an Dreamsicle? (The orange vanilla popsicle they used to make. I can't recall since I haven't had one since being a kid.) It looks very Springtimey. Peachy Keen looks more orangey than I expected. I have it in my untrieds, but seeing your mani maybe it's time to try it out.

    1. Thanks Cin O, I don't know what a creamside/dreamside is, not in the UK anyway. I really liked this manicure too. You should get yours out and try.
