Catch Up Time.... Update on Rumple's Wiggin'

....... Internet has been back but been trying to catch up with other stuff so nails and blogging has sadly been ignored.  But I am back and would like to show what I wore over the last two weeks or so.

My last manicure, I absolutely loved, but I jazzed it up a little bit more, using my sticky back plastic.  This is the result.... for the stripes I used an OPI shade, but I can't remember the name!

Woo Hoo - got internet back!

Not been on since Thursday of last week.  Our Internet was off, or rather the provider turned it off as there was noise on the line but did not bother telling us!  The only reason we have it back is because we complained about it!

Anyway will post again soon.  Off to catch up on what my fellow bloggers have been up to since.

OPI - Rumple's Wiggin'

Another change of manicure (2nd of the week!) as I got bored with my last one after just a day!
This time I am sporting a pale purple/lavender creme shade - Rumple's Wiggin' by OPI.  This is two thin coats, and I think, no, know, if I had taken just a bit more time, it could have been perfect had I applied it just a little bit more thickly.  But having said that it was opaque in the two coats I applied.  On my ring finger I did a taped off design, and here I used Overdose from the LA Girl Rock Star collection, a purple/blue/pink glitter in a clear base.  All topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I Cherish This China Glaze!

Today I am sporting a lovely shimmery green and black on my nails.  I must admit it took an age to prepare, almost half hour! that is long for me.  Anyway the end result was worth it as I have had lots of compliments on this manicure today.
I would however like to apologise for the dry skin around my fingers, I did my cuticles this weekend using Blue Cross.  This product is great on removing the hard cuticle skin but it does not agree with the rest of my fingers!  Anyway I did a little funky taped manicure.  I put on just one coat of China Glaze Cherish - (it did not need another) and then a coat of Seche Vite.  Then as you can see in the first picture I placed my cut out sticky back plastic design on the nail and then painted it with LA Girl Obsidian, a lovely black with a slight silver shimmer followed by another coat of SV and voila.

Purple Rain????

The weather is just so awful here at the moment, grey, dull and cold.  So to cheer myself up I changed my nail colour, with a new acquired nail lacquer.  I bought this in my haul delivered last week.  It is the gorgeous sumptuous (IMO) purple by China Glaze - Coconut Kiss.  I am absolutely loving the colour.  This is two coats over OPI Nail Envy topped off with a coat of Seche Vite.

WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY AS I LIKE THIS COLOUR SO MUCH!

Impulse Buy!

I ordered this yesterday after seeing Erika's manicure.  I just could not help myself!  This afternoon I got in from work and it was waiting for me.  I can't wait to put it on and maybe even try the manicure Erika has done, or something similar. This picture is pretty much true in colour.  In Erika's blog it looks much brighter and yellower (is that even a word?).  I will have to photo when on to see if the colour builds up.

Make an Entrance

I was going through my list of China Glaze nail lacquer this weekend and couldn't find this one.  I checked my invoices, emails of my order etc, and it was there.  So where had it gone, was I going mad?  No, I was not, I had filed it in the wrong box, phew what a relief.  Anyway after all the trouble it had caused me, it had to be worn.  Another one of my "yet to be worn".  So here it is in all its bright pink glory, China Glaze - Make an Entrance.  It applied beautifully, two coats here with a coat of seche vite on top.  Love it.

Later in the evening, I added black tips.  I used an un-named black by Honeypot Cosmetic, a cheapie polish bought at a cheapie shop in the high street.  This is one thickish coat of black.

My Head2Toe HAUL! - WARNING............

.....................PICTURE HEAVY.......

Would like to say a big thank you to Head2Toe Beauty for shipping my order so quickly.  Perfectly packaged, even the little CG boxes had the poly chips in them.  Only hold up was this end in the UK in customs (nearly 3-4 days!), and unfortunately had to pay a small sum for customs and handling etc.  But it was still worth it.  I managed to get more of my blue lacquer (which I simply can't have enough of) but I also got my Crackle polish YAY, can't wait to play.  I also got the Anchors Away collection, I could not help it.  But as you can see as well as the Seche Vite Restore, I also got a few other shades to add to my ever growing collection!  I also got my first Color Club Lacquer.  I hope to get more soon!!

Half Moon Manicure

My manicure after my disastrous green patchwork one, is IMO much more subtle and I think more elegant.
My Manicure is inspired by Ditta Von Teese.  In my version I used a grey lacquer by ASOS Paint by ciate called Kate, paper ring reinforcements for the moon shape and Double Platinum (Rockstar collection ) by LA Girl to fill in the moon shape. To top it off a coat of Seche Vite.
What do you think, what are you thoughts on this manicure?  Do let me know.
