Day 4 (week 4) of the ER31DC and I am a week late. I have been pretty ill with a viral infection which put me out for 2 weeks!! But here is my green entry. It looks almost gradient here and IRL. But I painted on NI SD just on the tips (the lighter green), taped off the chevrons and painted on the darker emerald shade of DSM from LA Girl Metal collection. The photos look more blue than green but I assure you they are green.

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 3 - YELLOW
Day 3 (week 3) of the ER31DC and I am a day late, again, sorry. The theme is yellow this week. I love this diagonal french tip manicure inspired by Robin Moses. I have done this several times here and here for example and it is so quick and simple.

LB31DC - Day 12 - Tape Manicure
This is day 12 of the laid back 31 day challenge.
This is my tape manicure. My DH calls it a "chocolate box" look as it reminds him of black magic chocolate.
Also, I don't know what I did to my camera but the settings have gone a bit do-lally. I can't seem to get the skin tone colour quite right! The manicure colour is accurate though, so that's something. So here goes......

LB31DC - Day 11 - Splatter
This is day 11 of the laid back 31 day challenge and I am a day late. This is my splatter manicure. I used the same base as in my previous post and "splattered" with a tooth brush some acrylic colours over the top..... and hey presto..... First photo with flash and look at the mess. But after a clean up, not bad.

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 2 - ORANGE
Day 2 (week 2) of the ER31DC and I am a day late, sorry. But again I am really pleased with my manicure. I have had this nail enamel in my stash for sometime and I have only ever worn it twice, here and here. I have to admit it went on like a dream. The first coat was almost opaque but I did this with two.
I do a lot of nail art and wearing just a colour can look to me a little naked! But like the red nails last week, the orange nails on their own look really cool. I also like using flowers in my nail photography and again I am pleased how these turned out.
I have on my new camera a feature that takes 16 multi shots. With this orange colour and the black background I think the picture came out really, well for me anyway!

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Red
ER31DC DAY 1 - RED
I have joined the new ER31DC organised by Katherine over at Rambles of a Polish Addict. It is going to run as of today and thereafter every Friday (hence the extra relaxed in the title). It is going to be a long challenge but this suits me to down to the ground as I like to enjoy my painted nails for a few days at least. So today it is red, and below will be my freshly shortened nails sporting a red. I have to add this is just one coat and no top coat added. Isn't it shiny and almost opaque in one? Beautiful. It is the brand PIA and is from frangrancedirect. I will update this post with more photos showing two coats and a top coat to compare later.
Updated: some more photos to show colour with two coats and a top coat of SV. I absolutely love this red. I have a few but have to say this beats them all. It is so bright and vibrant and just so red. It is the perfect shade for my skin tone.
