26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Mixed Tape

This is the 11th manicure of the 26 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

The challenge this fortnight is Mixed Tape.

I was really stuck on what to do.  This is what I ended up with, The two accent nails, I first applied the gold polish and let dry.  Once dry, I applied some striping tape and went over it with the pink.
Result :)

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Orange - Mosaic/Stained Glass Skittlette

Week 46 of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

Six more weeks to go ......

This week the prompt is Orange and my personal prompt - Mosaic/Stained Glass .

I went for the Mosaic.  I painted 3 different colour oranges onto a plastic sheet, when dry, I cut out tiny random shapes.

I painted on the Kiko base colour once, let it dry, applied a second coat and while still wet, placed randomly the cut out polish pieces.  A top coat of SV and voila.

The three colours I used for the Mosaic on my nails ↓

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Weddings

Week 35 of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

This week the prompt is weddings.

I guess when you think of wedding nails you would normally think pastel or french manicure or along those lines.

I took inspiration firstly from my own wedding outfit and then from the lovely @lauramerino12 on instagram.

I can't even remember what I had on my nails all those years ago (26 years).  But I thought if I did my nails, I would do them to match my outfit and this is what I came up with.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 Shades of Purple with Circles

Week 16 of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

This week the prompt is 3 Shades of Purple for everyone and my personal pattern prompt is Circles.

I have done a 3 shade purple sponge gradient with gold stamped circles on all but the ring finger.  On the ring finger, I started off with a white base (OPI Alpine Snow) I then stamped with the 3 shades of purple.  I have used BM322 plate.

I am still a novice where stamping is concerned as I don't own any decent stamping polish, but the No7 polish I used turned out pretty well.

Plum Luck Saran Wrap Skittlette - 10 November 2015

I love the saran wrap (cling film to us Brits) method.  It is quick, easy and very effective.  I particularly lurrvve how this one turned out.  Love it.

Metallic Nail Stickers - 10 June 2015

Another buy from AliExpress, some metallic gold and silver self adhesive nail stickers.

My daughter tried these out, I have to say without success.  Mind you she was in a great hurry as she she was going away on her hols to Greece the same evening. I think she somewhat rushed and they came out crinkled and creased.  She was not happy and they came right off.  But I think with a little bit more time and effort these would go on smoothly and look fab.

Delicate Gold Gradient with Decals - 21 May 2015

A delicate nude/gold gradient with some black water decals I got a while back from AliExpress.  As you can see I was in a hurry and I think I did this quite late at night, as the decal on my index finger particularly if not on point!.  Nonetheless, I loved wearing this.

As with any pale gradient I do, I usually start with a base coat of white and then use the darker colours on top. Not pictured, the white I used was by Honeypot Cosmetics.

This pack of had ten black decals and ten white (on the right, camera did not pick up the colour).
