26 Great Nail Art Ideas - Black Base - Marble Nails

Challenge number 3 of 26 Great Nail Art Idea's (done every fortnight) this week the theme is - Black Base.

I have seen many many marble nails recently and so decided to do some for this challenge.  For the ring accent however I did a white base.  It still counts, right? :)  Anyway I painted on the black and white nail lacquer and did the marble effect with watered down acrylic paints.  I then used the silver for a little accent.

GOT Polish Challenge - Week 10 - Purple - Water Marble

Week 10 of the (Golden Oldie Thursday) GOT Polish challenge over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts. This week the theme is Purple.

I have had the two PIA nail polishes in my stash for over 2 years and the sinful color one for over 3 maybe 4 years.

With two of the polishes I decided to do a water marble.  I rushed into this and forgot to put a base of white underneath the water marble, hence the see through effect.  Although it looks ok I wish I had put on an undie!  Nevermind, it looks ok.
Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
PIA - Shade 05 and 22 (glitter)
Sinful Color - Tucana
Seche Vite

Pink and White Marble

This is my first post.

I did this manicure about a month ago. I saw this tutorial on Youtube and caught site of a tut done by Collette. I was inspired and spent several days practicing on some false nails. I finally did this one on me. The photo's are not great, (need loads of practice in taking them). But the "real" effect was better than it shows in these pics. I used NYC 113AA White base with Constance Carroll Ivory, La Femme Beauty Fucshia 11 and Hot Pink 24.
