At the weekend I was catching up on blogs that I follow, and as per usual I got sidelined by new blogs that I found through the old! As in my last post where I was inspired by a new blog, I found this particular one where again I was inspired. So Please go take a look as this lady has some fantastic ideas that appeal to me and perhaps you will like too.
The colours used were:
OPI Rumple's Wiggin - lilac
Color Club - Pucci-licious - darker lilac
China Glaze- Snow - White
Silver Striping tape
Seche Vite top coat
I really like this colour combination. The only gripe I had a day and then two days later, the striping tape began to peel off on some nails. I put on a thick coat of SV but still? Anyone have any other tips on how to keep the tape on?

Pink Elegant Squares Inspired by Sopie
I found this great nail blog this week. This girl sure knows how to do beautiful nail art. I got inspired last night and did similar nails to hers here. Mind you I did these last night after my Zumba class, I was tiried, what was I thinking? But my nails needed doing, so I set to work. It took me an hour but I did it! The result............... ......... ... Well not as neat as Sophie, but then it was 10pm by now and I did not have the energy to clean up, so big apologies.
So here goes.... My version.
BTW I used:
Zoe by Zoya as my silver base coat.
Then for the various squares:
She's So Glam - Color Club - Light Pink
Vampire State Building - OPI - Burgundy
Platforms - LA Girl - Neon Pink
Seche Vitte top coat

OPI Skull and Glossbones
My latest manicure is this lovely combination IMO. I used OPI Skull and Glossbones from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection and for the ring accent finger I used GOSH Miss Minty. The combination worked really well. I love the SnG shade it is just lovely, it reminds me of some other dupes I have from other makes. I think perhaps a comparison is due?

My Valentine Manicure
I wasn't going to do anything too intricate or any nail art for valentines day, but I gave in and came up with something anyway :) For the base colour I used Villiers Street by Nails Inc. A shimmery red. I did the hearts using pink and black acrylic paint. All topped off with a generous coat of SV and voila......

Warm nails for the Freezing Weather.
Last week I wore this warming manicure. For the ring accent finger I wore the charming Poptastic by Color Club and then did a leopard print with acrylic paints. For the rest of the manicure I wore China Glaze - Oh How Street It is, a hot vibrant orange. And boy did I need this manicure. We have had snow and freezing weather to contend with here in the UK. At lease this manicure made me feel warmer.

Gone Totally Dotty!
Still with the dotty theme, this is my latest manicure. For the base colour I used Where's the Soiree by Color Club, a creme black which dries with a satin finish. I then went a bit dotty and added dots just to the ends of my nails and for the ring finger - all over. Topped it with a coat of SV for shine.

Dotty Check Pattern
More nail art on my nails for this week. I saw this originally on a white base with black dots and it looked awesome. But I wanted a different slant on it so went pink. I used OPI Japanese Rose Garden for the base and then used Victoria by ASOS Ciate Pots for the dots. Topped off with a generous layer of Seche Vite.
I am quite pleased with the effect.
