Full Nail Decal Skittlette - 20 Nov 2014

20 November 2014

Photo taken a few days later, as you can see, tip wear.  It comes with the job, working in a school.
But it did look good on fresh!  I used full nail decal stickers that I have had for a good few years.

I used the full nail decals (or wraps as some call them) here.  I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but having used decals so many times recently, I knew what I had to do and these were indeed a cinch to apply.

I only used two out of the 12 decals on this sheet, they are so very long. Waste not want not?  or am I just a frugal user?

Remembrance Day Skittlette Nails 4 Nov 2014

4 November 2014

Not a very good photo I'm afraid.  But these looked so good IRL, if I do say so myself.
Not sure which red I used, but the two accent nail base colour is OPI My Vampire is Buff and the pinkie glitter is LA Girl Sandblast - Sands of Time.
The poppy nail art is done with acrylic paints.

My "oldie" used in this challenge in the decal stickers.  I have had these for absolutely ages.  Again as last weeks GOT post, these decals came from QVC again from a Special FX polish purchase, oooh about 10-15 years ago!

Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
LA Girl Sand Blast - Sands of Time - Gold on pinky finger
LA Girl Sand Blast - Sand Dune - on index and thumb
NYC - Full Metal Jacket - Foil Gold on ring and middle finger
Water Decals
Seche Vite

LA Girl Textured Sandy Nails

Another catch up post here.  This time from October 2013!  My nails were longer and in good health, not the state they are in at present.

Anyway, what can I say, I know the view on textured polish is split, you either like it or you don't - well I like it, in fact I loved this one on my nails.  I am wearing LA Girl Sand Blast Textured polish.  I love the neutral shade of the sandy colour against my skin tone, and the glitter one, it looked and felt like I had little gold grains on my nails, how decadent.  I have worn the red textured shade from LA Girl here and still have a few to wear, but I have to say this combination is by far my favourite.

Items Used:
OPI Nail Envy
LA Girl Sand Blast Textured Nail Polish - Sands of Time - Gold
and Sandstorm - Beige
