Color Club - Take Me To Your Chateau

I had been lemming this colour for ages.  I finally placed an order and managed to bag this beauty.
So this is the colour I am wearing this week.  I did though have trouble applying it.  It was very streaky and trying to go over the bald patches just seemed to make it worse.  I soon learnt and so just stopped and covered in the second coat.  In the end not too bad a coverage.  A beautiful pale blue creme colour.
A bit picture heavy, I could not choose out of all these!

UPDATE

A few days later I updated my manicure.  I added some random stripes using Sinful Color - Hot spot.  Never again, especially after a long hard day at work and home! This took way too long to do.  But worth it, just.
Then, a day later I went to see Take That at Wembley Stadium:-

ASOS Paint - Lily

This is one of my new polishes I bought last week from the ASOS Sale. My daughter is wearing this one. It is a gorgeous green shade called Lily by ASOS Paint (by Ciaté). It is a lovely bright creme green shade. This is two coats and a top coat of Seche Vite. It was great to apply.

NOTD - LA Girl - Twinkling

Today I am wearing another one of "my never worn as yet" lacquer's. It is a gorgeous blue called Twinkling by LA Girl. This is only two coats as you can see VNL. Really should have done three coats but Strictly Come Dancing was about to start and I could not miss that! This was great to apply, not too thick. Top coat of Seche Vite and it is shiny shiny shiny.

Some Old Manicures

Sorry for not being on for a while.

It was the last day of term as you may know on Friday 23 July, (if you are in the UK). It has been a real busy half term. So I have not been able to post much.

I have loads of my manicures photo'd and saved and so am just going to share as many as I can in this one post, so please forgive if it is lonnnnggg:)

This was a manicure of Yellow comparisons that I did, I updated it for a day by stamping it, a bit of Konad and some BM Plates.
Turned up Turquoise by China Glaze, The colour in reality was much brighter and sharper. My camera did not seem to want to pick that up:(
A few days later, I updated the manicure by fauxnading it, you can see I am still a novice as it is a bit skew wiff!

A Blue by China Glaze, apologies, the name escapes me. My daughter did this manicure, she then updated it by putting on Rainbow by Gosh

Tantalize Me by China Glaze

This is Moody Blue by China Glaze, a lovely creme polish.
A colour drop, the actual colour though is much brighter on the nail me thinks.
Excuse the lack of clean up, I just noticed!

Gosh - Pink Rose

Sunday 16 May 2010

Got myself a new pink shade in the week. It is by Gosh and it is a lovely coral/pink creme shade. Application was lovely and opaque in two.

This made my nails look really long, and I was asked by the kids at school if they were my real nails? I said yes but was not believed. What do you think.
