40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 Shades of Red/Orange - Fluid Lines

Week 30 of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

The prompt for the challenge this week is 3 Shades of Red/Orange  and my personal pattern prompt - Fluid Lines.

I was in a hurry and this is not quite what I had in mind but here you go.  As it goes the red by LA Color had a gelly finish and so I ended up with a sandwich of the fluid lines.

I started off doing a gradient with LA Color Moody Red and Pride of London orange, but you couldn't see the difference really.  Then with the lightest orange I did some random fluid lines, topped it with another coat of moody red and voila.....

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

Week 23 of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

The challenge this week is Food.

I had lots of ideas, but kept it simple and quick.

I did a chocolate theme.  I took my inspiration from Aero, original and mint.  The middle finger is the original Aero with all the bubbles inside and the ring finger shows the centre of the mint Aero.

Blue Tartan - 16 June 2014

Blue Tartan - 16 June 2014

Using China Glaze Bahamian Escape as the main base colour and Nanacoco White as Snow on the ring finger. Acrylic paint was used to make the tartan lines.
Not happy with the ring finger lines, a bit wonky near the free edge.

GOT Polish Challenge Part 2 - Week 13 - Gradient

The final challenge of the second GOT challenge. Week 13 of the GOT2 (Golden Oldie Thursday) Polish challenge over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts the theme - Gradient.

I love doing gradients and find the manicure so quick and easy (a little messy) but other than that simple.  I saw this on Nadia Alicia's IG account.  If you are not following, you are really missing out.

Anyway, I just loved the colour combination and had to give it a got.  The oldies in this are the China Glaze and LA Girl lacquers. This is my interpretation.

Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
China Glaze - Grape Pop
LA Girl - Turntable
Nanacoco - Love Me Tenderly
Seche Vite

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 16 - Tribal Print

Day 16 (week 16) of the ER31DC - Tribal Print. I have NEVER done a tribal print manicure, this is a first. I did not have the patience to do all my nails so choose two accent nails instead.  This is what I came up with.

My right hand, does not get shown often, the index finger went a bit wrong (this was the first design I did!).
Items Used:
OPI Nail Envy
Seche Vite top Coat
Sally Hansen - Ion - Beige base for print nails
Nanacoco - Love me Tenderly - Peach
Nanacoco - Mediterranean - Green
Black Acrylic Paint
