40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 Shades of Red/Orange - Fluid Lines

Week 30 of the 52 week 40 Great Nail Art Idea's Challenge.

The prompt for the challenge this week is 3 Shades of Red/Orange  and my personal pattern prompt - Fluid Lines.

I was in a hurry and this is not quite what I had in mind but here you go.  As it goes the red by LA Color had a gelly finish and so I ended up with a sandwich of the fluid lines.

I started off doing a gradient with LA Color Moody Red and Pride of London orange, but you couldn't see the difference really.  Then with the lightest orange I did some random fluid lines, topped it with another coat of moody red and voila.....

Orange Gradient and Rose Water Decals - 15 June 2015

Back on catch up from mid year.  I did these lovely orange nails way back in June.

The gradient nails are just on the two accent nails. I apply a base coat of white, top it with SV then do the gradient.  Then over the top of them some rose water decals.  Some nails studs on the other nails to finish off the manicure.  Nice and bright and summery. Loved it on.

This sheet of nail decals had a total of 11 designs and colours.  Has lasted ages and look, so much more to use.

SIMPLES - Week 2 - Skittle

SIMPLES: Nail Art from Muggle to Mastery - Week 2 is Skittle week.

I have been reviewing and had to use my cinderella hand for this manicure.

A skittle manicure is when you paint all your nails differently, whether it is pattern and colour combo or just colour combo it is a free for all so long as all the nails are different.  Here I went simple and went for colour - I used the colours of the rainbow.

Items used:
Rimmel - Double Decker Red
Pride of London - 343 (orange)
Sally Hansen - Buttercup
Color Club - Twiggie
Kiko - 386 Light Pastel Blue
Acrylic Paint - Black
Sech Vite top coat

GOT Polish Challenge Part 2 - Week 4 - Tropical Gradient

Week 4 of the GOT2 (Golden Oldie Thursday) Polish challenge over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts. This week the theme is SomethingTropical.

I used two golden oldies (OPI and Sinful Colors) and two not so old for this manicure.  I have recently joined onto the IG wagon and have seen a lot of tropical palm tree nails, there are loads of tutorials out there too, I had to give it a go.  And if I do say so myself they turned out pretty good.  My daughter did not believe I did the trees, she was sure I used decals!!  But I assure you all, I did them myself.
Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
OPI - That's Hot Pink
Sinful Colors - Pinky Glitter
Nails Inc - Hobart Place
Pride of London - 343 (darker orange)
Black acrylic paint
Seche Vite
