GOT2 - Full Challenge In Pictures

GOT Polish Challenge Part 2 - Week 13 - Gradient

The final challenge of the second GOT challenge. Week 13 of the GOT2 (Golden Oldie Thursday) Polish challenge over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts the theme - Gradient.

I love doing gradients and find the manicure so quick and easy (a little messy) but other than that simple.  I saw this on Nadia Alicia's IG account.  If you are not following, you are really missing out.

Anyway, I just loved the colour combination and had to give it a got.  The oldies in this are the China Glaze and LA Girl lacquers. This is my interpretation.

Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
China Glaze - Grape Pop
LA Girl - Turntable
Nanacoco - Love Me Tenderly

GOT Polish Challenge Part 2 - Week 11 - Red

Week 11 of the GOT2 (Golden Oldie Thursday) Polish challenge over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts. The theme for this week is Red.

I literally did just that, Red.  This is one of my oldest red nail polish that I own.  It is definitely double figure years old, probably 15years or older!  I would love to own more Zoya nail lacquer, but it is just to heavy on the pocket!

I have neglected it over newer reds, so here it is in all its glory and nothing else.
Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
Zoya - Delilah

SIMPLES - Week 4 - Saran Wrap

SIMPLES: Nail Art from Muggle to Mastery - Week 4 is Saran Wrap (cling film to us UK dwellers).

First off I cut and reshaped my nails this weekend. I really liked the length but unfortunately they were getting "too long" for my job (I work in a school, reception year).    I also shaped them back to square nails.  I haven't had them like this in a long while and thought it a good idea, but I am not sure I like them!.

Anyway, back to this week.  I have done this technique several times and it is a real quick and easy to go manicure.  The possibilities are endless. Have a look in this link here.

For this particular one I did a purple saran wrap with a matte top coat, which I really like.

Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
Barry M - Berry
Illamasqua - Poke
Matte Top Coat - Primark
Cling Film (Saran Wrap)

GOT Polish Challenge Part 2 - Week 10 - With Silver Accent

Week 10 of the GOT2 (Golden Oldie Thursday) Polish challenge over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts. The theme for this week is with silver accent.

I used PIA number 27 (Royal Blue) which I have had for a about 2 years, isn't it just lush?  For the silver accent nail I used striping tape over a bare nail and painted it silver.  I only used SV on the accent nail, didn't need to on the blue, it was shiny enough.

Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
PIA - 27 (Royal Blue)
Nails Inc - Soho Silver
Striping Tape

SIMPLES - Week 3 - Ombre

SIMPLES: Nail Art from Muggle to Mastery - Week 3 is Ombre week.

Oooh, this is so controversial.  What is an ombre?  I have googled it and all the images that come up are showing what I call a 'gradient' nail - where you use two or more colours and they gently fade into each other like these that I have done, not an ombre where you use one base colour and it fades from either dark to light on each finger nail, for example like these.

What is your interpretation?

Here is my Ombre - black fading to white.

Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
Nails Inc - Black Taxi, Berkeley Square, The Thames
Barielle - U-Concrete-me
China Glaze - Snow
