BornPrettyStore Decal Review - 6 January 2015

Well I 'done and dusted' 2014 manicures a month or so ago.  Now I am on a mission to post my manicures as worn this year!

The first manicure of the year was this bright one with nail decals from BornPrettyStore.

I love nail decals, they are so versatile and easy to use and make nail art easy.  I have more water decals in future posts to share, so I hope you come back to look again.

If you would like to try these or any other nail art products, feel free to use my BPS code PBL91 to get 10% off your order, and don't forget post and packaging is free worldwide.

Pink and White Spotty Dotty - 24 June 2014

24 June 2014

A simple spotty manicure here. Using Sally Hansen Ballet Rouges as the main colour and Barry M Matt White on the ring finger. Finished off with Born Pretty Store Super Matte topcoat

I wish I had been a bit more consistent with the dots, should have done them all the same size.  I prefer the smaller dots.

Born Pretty Store Prize Won on Instagram

8 June 2014

I won a prize from Born Pretty Store last June 2014.  I never got around to blog about it. I've never won anything, this was so cool.  My favourite items, nail water decals.
WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY

Matte Plum with Decals - 4 June 2014

4 June 2014

Ok, so this manicure is using the LA Girl Matte polish in Matte Plum with some nail water decals I got from AliExpress.

I love the colour combination of plum with blue.

I also used a Matte polish from **Born Pretty Store on top of the manicure to make it more mattified.

The manicure looks satin finish, but that is because of the cuticle oil (from my previous post).

Born Pretty Store - Open Ring Stud Review

Today I am reviewing the **Open Ring Studs sent to me by Born Pretty Store.

My first impression was "great", and then it turned to "... how do I even get to them...?"  I could not open the wheel.  Several family members tried but we just could not open it! But I was not going to be defeated and unfortunately I had to break into the wheel and decant into another one. Phew!

I did a sponge gradient using a white and two greens.  Stuck the rings down with clear polish and then put drops of glitter polish in the rings for more sparkle.

Although I like these rings I did find that where they weren't closed, they got stuck in hair and clothing.  I think a thicker layer or two of top coat could help but next time I may just have to flatten them with some pliers so they lie flatter.  Overall it was an ok product and I already have an idea for some nail art where this will be an ideal product.  Hope to share with you soon.

Born Pretty Store - Multi Shape and Colour Studs/Rhinestones

This is number three of the three reviews I have for the Born Pretty Store.

This review is for some lovely pastel studs/rhinestones, items number ID: 12408.  The wheel has 300 studs/rhinestones in three colours and 4 shapes and sizes, how great is that.  A huge amount of nail art possibilities with these beauties.

I choose to do a kind of skittlette manicure to show them off.  I choose polishes matching the three colours in the wheel.  I randomly sponged them on and applied the studs/rhinestones.

Without further a do, here is my manicure.

You can get these gorgeous studs/rhinestone at the Born Pretty Store and you can use my discount code PBL91 which will get you 10% off. So what are you waiting for, go to Born Pretty Store for loads more nail art goodies.
