Today I'm sharing my first review of water decals from the nail art store Lady Queen.

The colours are fresh and vibrant, I was spoilt for choice but chose this set for the review.  I find water decals so much fun and they are so quick and easy and you get a manicure to die for.  And I have to say, these were just as easy to use as any others I've used in the past.

It contains some pearl studs, bows, 3d flowers and fimo heart shapes.

Born Pretty Store - Open Ring Stud Review

Today I am reviewing the **Open Ring Studs sent to me by Born Pretty Store.

My first impression was "great", and then it turned to "... how do I even get to them...?"  I could not open the wheel.  Several family members tried but we just could not open it! But I was not going to be defeated and unfortunately I had to break into the wheel and decant into another one. Phew!

I did a sponge gradient using a white and two greens.  Stuck the rings down with clear polish and then put drops of glitter polish in the rings for more sparkle.

Although I like these rings I did find that where they weren't closed, they got stuck in hair and clothing.  I think a thicker layer or two of top coat could help but next time I may just have to flatten them with some pliers so they lie flatter.  Overall it was an ok product and I already have an idea for some nail art where this will be an ideal product.  Hope to share with you soon.

Sparkly Nails - Lace Wheel Water Decals Review

At the weekend I got some gorgeous Lace Wheel Water Decals in the post from Sparkly Nails to review. There are 20 pieces in all, (10 black and 10 white).  They retail at £1.65 and UK standard postage is only £1.50.

As other decals I have used before, these were just as easy to apply.  I simply painted my nails (or rather sponged my nails, using my new KIKO blues and Sally Hansen).  I waited a few minutes, cut out the decals, dipped in water and applied to my nails, top coat of SV and some gems on the other nails and viola!

I must add I am quite frugal and decided to use them as an accent on my gradient nails.  I went for the white pattern.

Nail art has never been simpler and quicker.  Love these decals**.

Born Pretty Store- Nail Sticker Review

This is number two of the three reviews I have for the Born Pretty Store.

This review is for some nail stickers, item ID: 11886.  There are several to choose from, I choose no. 12.  A lovely swirly pattern with flowers and tiny rhinestones.  You get 12 stickers, in different widths. 

I am quite frugal, and used only one sticker for an accent nail.  I applied to my bare ring finger and I think the effect was really nice and elegant.  The stickers are easy to use.  You just peel them off the backing (cut to size if needed). Apply to the nail, stretching a little to get a nice tight fit.  Apply a top coat and voila, done. This lasted a good couple of days.  I had slight tip wear (I work in an Infant School so I am always washing my hands and lots of activities inside and outside the classroom). 

This is my second lot of stickers from Born Pretty and I love them.  So easy and quick to use and so many different patterns to choose from.

Born Pretty Store - White Nail Studs - Review

So here is one of three reviews I have for the Born Pretty Store.

This review is for a pack of 200Pcs 2.5mm Colorful Mini Square Patterned Studs - itemID: 12419. I chose the white studs 3865-2 for my selection. They retail at $2.22 USD or £1.33 and there is a choice of 12 colours.

I chose the white ones mainly so I could see if I could paint them with nail polish and I must say it was a little fiddly but the end result worked great.  

As you can see in this manicure I painted two of the studs with silver nail polish and  I must say the polish went on them pretty easily.  The studs were stuck down with a blob of clear polish and then a generous coat of Seche Vite on top.  I also used one of my many untried nail polishes - this particular one by Revlon I bought about two months ago from Fragrance Direct.  Isn't it pretty?  The nail art idea I got while browsing the Internet from ChitChatNails.

Born Pretty Store Review - Black and White Nail Art Stickers and Skittlette.

I have another Born Pretty Store review for you today.

It is item no: 9976 - a set of 14pcs Nail Art Stickers with Irregular Triangles.  They retail at $2.99 USD or £1.81 and there is a choice of 3 styles.  I chose this irregular triangle sticker.

They come with pretty easy to follow instructions.  Simply select the size for your nail (or if they don't quite fit, cut to right size), apply to the nail and press and smooth down.  Fold over the excess edge and simply gently file it off.  Apply a clear top coat and you are ready to go. Simple and easy nail art.

For my manicure I did a skittlette with the stickers.  I only used 4 out of the 14 stickers available so plenty more manicures to get out of these.

For the pinky I put on a pink base and then applied a generous one coat of OPI Glitter.  For the index and thumb I did a sponge gradient.

I have had these on overnight and washed my hands several time today (I work in reception class and we have been using clay to make pots and bears, and I can tell you I have had to wash my hands at school several times already!).  There may be a little tip wear, but I have to say these stickers are going nowhere fast.  That is great news for me.  I love these and would definitely buy more designs.
