I have been following the blog Nailed It for a while and have always been in awe of her wonderful nail shaped watermark. Well I emailed her today to ask how she made hers. Then went back to read her blog, and as I scrolled on down, what tutorial did she have??? One on how to make her famous wonderful watermark! How spooky! Anyway I do not have the program she used, however I have PSPX and similar tools and managed to make my own one.
Here is my version, what do you think? It is still a work in progress and I want to change it a little. Also not sure if I want to have my blog name or my username? What do you think?

Blue Patch Triangles
I could have worn my last blue manicure for a week as I like the colour so much. Unfortunately I got bored and decided to do something different, still sticking to the blue theme. I saw this here, a beautiful blog by Sofie. Go check it out. This my take....
For this manicure I used:
Color Club - Factory Girl - pale blue
Color Club - Pure energy - medium blue
China Glaze - Eyes Like Sapphires - dark blue
Color Club - Sex Symbol - silver base colour
Stripping Tape
SV Top Coat
Blue Bling
After my last one stroke manicure which only lasted about 2-3 days I decided to go a bit plain. But to jazz it up a little I used a blingy glitter for the ring finger.
I used:
Asos Ciate - Lauren for the base for all nails
Color Club - Sexy Siren for the bling on the ring finger
SV top coat

First Attempt at One Stroke Nail Art
This is my first attempt at doing the one stroke paint technique. A bit messy and uneven, and I don't think the colours were quite what I wanted. But you live and learn, next time I will be...... a little bit better?
I used:
Nails Inc - Fashion Fawn for the base
Acrylic paints for the flowers
Seche Vite top coat

Yellow Zebra/Tiger?
I would say zebra, that was my first thought, but you could say tiger?
Anyway I really liked this manicure, so fresh and spring like. For a bit of bling I added some flowers with rhinestones on some nails. I like it.
For this manicure I used:
LA Girls - Sunny - Yellow
Acrylic black paint for the stripes.
Seche Vitte Top Coat.
Polka Dots, Stripes and Roses!
This manicure was inspired from youtube here. IRL it looked much better than these photo's would have you believe!
For this manicure I used:
Illamasqua - DWS - Grey base colour
and for the dots and stripes same colour lightened with a bit of white.
Roses with random pinks.

Black Rainbow
6 March 2012
This manicure I did on the 6th of March. I think the title is quite appropriate. This looked easy to do but by the time I had done my right hand I was bored and was contemplating whether to just take it all off and paint one colour or carry on......
I carried on and about an hour, yes an hour or so later the manicure was done. I was quite pleased with the effect.
Next evening I went to my Zumba class and my nails were the talk of the class. Everyone wanted to know where I got them done, and the ladies were all surprised when I told them that I did them, all by myself. But next time I think I will just do an accent nail!
For this manicure I used:
China Glaze Flyin' High - Blue
LA Girl Disco Freak - Pink
Color Club Almost Famous - Yellow
Color Club Pucci-licious - Purple
Color Club Twiggie - Green
LA Girl Metal Obsidian - Black
Sticky Back Plastic strips
P.S.
I would also like to add that I got this idea from this amazing blog. So thank you Camille. I think in retrospect if I were to do this again I would choose colours like Camille that fade into each other rather than randomly placed like I did here.

Sorry I have been awol for a while. Just been busy with work and stuff. But I must share what I have been doing with my nails the past few weeks.

Item used:

Three different sizes of dotting tool for the dots
Top coat of SV and voila.
