Last April Nails!

My manicure for the last week in April was a simple two tone gradient.  Just two colours - orange and pink with a touch of glitter and viola.

Items used:
OPI - Nicole Alert! - Orange
China Glaze - Make an Entrance - Pink
Sinful Color - Pinky Glitter - glitter

Birthday Bling

It was my sons 14th birthday today, so I went red and blingy for the ringy!  Sweet and simple.
I used:
OPI - Mat-Adore-Red
LA Girl Rock Star - Live on Stage for the ring finger.
SV top coat

Pink and Purple Leopard Print

After dark nails for a few days, I needed some colour in the awful dark, cold and wet April days that we have been having here in the UK.  It was also coming up to my daughters 18th birthday, so nice and bright.
Items used:
Black acrylic paint
China Glaze - Secret Peri-wink-le - Lilac
China Glaze -  Make and Entrance - Pink
SV top coat

Dark Vampy Nails

For a change I wanted to wear a dark colour.  I hadn't for a while, so I went for this un-tried OPI colour.  It is a gorgeous dark burgundy shade.  At night time it almost looked black. Lovely.
Items used:
OPI - William Tell Me About OPI
SV top coat.

National Autism Awareness Month - Blue Swirl Water Decal

I have had these for about a year now and just hadn't got round to using them.  But last night I did it.  It was not easy I have to say and as you will see the application is far from perfect.  But I think with practice it should become better and easier!  I had trouble adhering the decals to the nails after soaking.  I am not sure if this was because I had my base coat on (nail envy in my case) and therefore it was a shiny surface or that I just need more practice.  Any thoughts?
Anyway I went for the blue swirls and just did the tips and full on the thumb nail.  Not bad, but boy are my nails yellow!!  Apologies, they need a buff me thinks.
I also dedicate this to the National Autism Awareness Month.

Pembroke Close and Spots

Well my last manicure did not last long.  Two days only, that is a first for me.  I did this straight after my Zumba class on Tuesday night last, at about 9pm, again while watching tv in bed!  It just had to be changed.  I went for this lovely colour by Nails Inc, miscellaneous white and a pencil for the dotting. Voila.  I am still wearing this and it is now Easter Monday.
For this manicure I used:
Nails Inc - Pembroke Close
A miscellaneous white for the dots
Seche Vite.

Green and Purple Sponge

Thought I would show you my bare nails before painting them.  The aren't as yellow as I thought they would be and the length is also good.  BUT, this is my famous left hand, which is always photographed, the right hand... well the nails for some reason are in a slightly worse condition.
The ring and middle finger just won't stop peeling and splitting.  So I went for the chop, my RH nails are a lot shorter than the LH.  It had to be done.
The manicure now.  Well I saw this on a Korean site a while back and thought I would give it a go.  I have searched high and low for the site but can I find it?? So if you are the owner, I thank you for the inspiration.
This is my version, I have to say I did this at about 9pm while in bed!!  I did not have the energy to do the swirly flowers so just dotted mine.  Overall I was happy with the effect although not sure I will wear this colour combo again.

For this manicure I used:
LA Girls Disco - Can U dig it? - the green base colour
OPI - Vampire State Building - the burgundy sponge
White acrylic for the dots.
Seche Vite top coat.
