Color Club - Take Me To Your Chateau

I had been lemming this colour for ages.  I finally placed an order and managed to bag this beauty.
So this is the colour I am wearing this week.  I did though have trouble applying it.  It was very streaky and trying to go over the bald patches just seemed to make it worse.  I soon learnt and so just stopped and covered in the second coat.  In the end not too bad a coverage.  A beautiful pale blue creme colour.
A bit picture heavy, I could not choose out of all these!

UPDATE

A few days later I updated my manicure.  I added some random stripes using Sinful Color - Hot spot.  Never again, especially after a long hard day at work and home! This took way too long to do.  But worth it, just.
Then, a day later I went to see Take That at Wembley Stadium:-

Something Happy to Share.

My daughter is into her nails too, (gets it from her mum!!).  Anyway, I have previously done her friends nails twice as she was so impressed with a manicure I did for my daughter.  So weekend just gone the friend had a wedding to go to and she asked if I could do her nails.  Unfortunately I was busy so my daughter said she would do them.  This is what she did with some added nail art and gems.  The orange used was High Hopes by China Glaze.

Catherine Arley 673 Purple

I wore this last week, it is an amazing polish, opaque in two coats.  STUNNING, nothing else to say.
PHOTO HEAVY, no aplogies. To see the holographicness, you really do NEED to click to enlarge.

A Pink Shatter?

I am sorry for being AWOL for a few weeks but I was not well and then had so much to catch up with at home I just did not get to update my blog.
But I still managed to paint my nails and I will share with you in the next few days what I wore.
My first installment is this lovely pink manicure.  I used ASOS Paint - Paris for the nail base and I am afraid I can't remember which OPI pink I used to stamp on my nails!  The BM plate used was BM208 and for the accent nail a few gems (which I don't think really worked, but hey ho).
A few days later I jazzed up the manicure using my sticky back plastic tape and some black polish.  The result was quite striking.

Grey Victoria Street in London Today!

My manicure (which I have had on since yesterday) I chose a shimmery grey by Nails Inc called Victoria Street.  And as the title suggests, that is exactly how the weather is here at the moment.  So to cheer the manicure up a little I also added some daisy flowers using the tip of a pencil.   Topped off with a coat of SV and it came up shining (unlike the weather lol).

Below is a photo of my haul I picked up from the Post Office after work yesterday.  I ordered this from Cherry Culture last week.  I have some make up items for myself and my daughter, but also some Milani, LA Girl and Sinful Color Nail Polish.  I got Milani 3D holographic and nude nail colours, a few other shades and the others were black nail polish.  A girl can never have enough black nail polish, right?

Cloudy - But There Is Alway a Rainbow!

Manicure of the day today is a rainbow.  The weather has turned cold and cloudy so for my nails I thought I would do a rainbow.  I started off with 2 coats of OPI Kyoto Pearl for a base colour.  Then sponged on a trio of colours for a rainbow effect.  When I normally sponge I do each colour separately, but this time I put drops of the colours straight on the sponge, mixed them a little and sponged straight on the nails.  I used Barry M Pure Turquoise (blue), Nails Inc Oxford Circus (pink) and China Glaze Lemon Fizz (yellow). Topped off with a coat of SV and voila.

OPI - Infatuation Makeover!

Having worn Infatuation for a few days, I stamped all over it before I change the manicure.  I got this idea from Emeraldsparkled.  Mine is not as good or as springy as hers, but it still got some, yes some compliments.

OPI - Infatuation

After having worn a lot of bright colours and a lot of nail art recently, I needed a really low key manicure. While I was at it I also cut and filed down my nails, AGAIN!  But a couple of them were growing out splits and or tears so it was required.
Any hoot I opted for this elegant light salmon colour by OPI called Infatuation.  It is quite sheer and this is three coats and you can still some VNL, but to be fair my tips are quite white so this had to do and really I don't mind.

GOSH - Holographic with a hint of Teal

I have worn this before and the photo's are much better there.  These were taken just as the sun was setting so not a lot of light.  None the less it was still gorgeous on.  This is three coats put on in a hurry (was the night before the morning of attending a wedding!)  I topped it off with a coat of SV.

A few days later, I got bored and changed the manicure by putting on a coat of Nails Inc Electric Teal which I got in InStyle Magazine.  I used some nail art hexagon glitter to jazz it up a little.  Looked better IRL.
