GOT Polish Challenge - Week 4 - Dots

I was looking forward to this one.  I had wanted to this design for ages.  So I set about knowing just what to do, and  it turned out a big fail. I did not have time to do it again or do another manicure.  And really I can't say anymore :(
Items used:
LA Girl Disco - Dance Studio (a lot darker navy than the photo depicts)
China Glaze - Sweet Hook (Lilac)
Honeypot - White

Red into Black Gradient

I had been meaning to do a red and black gradient for ever.  Finally got round to it back in November 2013. Boy am I glad I did.  I started off with a coat of the red and then followed with a sponge gradient with both red and black.  The colours faded into each other beautifully.  I love love loved this on.

Flaming Animal Print

I loved wearing this.  Such an autumnal colour, shame my photography let this one down, sorry.  Flaming orange base with red leopard print.  As always I used OPI Nail Envy as my base and SV as top coat.

Golden Dots on Chocolate!

Another manicure from last year.  I really like dark colours on short nails.  Wish I had just done the one dot on the middle and ring finger though. Oh well, looked OK for a few days.

Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
Seche Vite
Color Club - With Abandon
China Glaze - Passion
Miscellaneous glitter on the ring finger.

Another catch up post here - 15 November 2013.  This was my first time doing the interlocking design.  I think it looks best on the little pinky finger.  More practise needed on this one.
Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
Sally Hansen - Ion
Seche Vite
Miscellaneous Glitter polish
I am sorry, I can't remember the darker colour that I used here.

Geisha Nail Water Decals - XF1265

Another decal manicure to share.  Again an old manicure done back in October 2013.  This is the second lot of decals from a haul back in October (read here).  I had seen these on various blogs and on the internet and just had to have me some!
As lovely as they are they were not what I expected.  The ones I had seen blogged about covered the whole nail, these just looked too small.  Had I been duped?  Not at all.  Upon further investigation I found there were two types of decal in this same design, a small image decal (like mine) and a larger image decal.
I used them anyway as they are so pretty.  But I think my placement of the decal does not do it or my manicure any justice.  I should have either placed them near the top at the cuticle or the bottom near the free edge (another note to self!)
Items used:
Nails Inc - Elizabeth Street
LA Girl - Sterling Silver
AliExpress - Geisha nail water decals
OPI Nail Envy
Seche Vite

Zipper Nail Water Decals - XF1268

Another old manicure to share with you here.  I got these nail water decals way back in October last year. I order 3 styles of decals and a pack of nail studs.  I was hoping to swatch all of them and share at once.  But I have only managed to wear 2 out of the 4 items.

First to share with you, these lovely nail zipper decals.  I was not good at applying these to start with, as I lost some of the design when applying.  Also I think the gold decals would have shown up better on a lighter background, note to self!  But overall I really liked these. There are 12 gold and 12 black zippers on one sheet.  So enough for two sets of full manicures and a third for an accent manicure. The instructions on the back are fairly easy to follow.
Items used:
OPI Nail Envy
Elf - Plum
Sally Hansen - Lavender Cloud
AliExpress - Zipper nail water decals
Seche Vite

Diwali Nails - 70's Retro - 2nd November 2013

I wore these to a 70's bollywood theme Diwali party in November 2013.  I got inspired by Claire here .  The colours I chose went with the dress I wore.  For the base colour I am wearing Sally Hansen Ion.  For the nail art I used Nails Inc Savoy Hill, LA Girl Can U Dig it? and Vinyl Record.  The pictures are rubbish. Why is it that the nails I really like I can never photograph properly?

Nail Water Decal Haul - AliExpress

Price Reveal.......

Well the total for this order was £21.17 - Free Shipping.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I have an amazing haul to share with you all today.  It is from AliExpress.  It is my 3rd time of ordering from this site.  First of all I would like to say that from placing the order to receiving the goods, it took a total of 14 days, from China.  Isn't that great.

This is how the goods came packaged.  In a box really well sealed.
And inside, the multi pack of decals was sealed and wrapped in bubble wrap.
Now on to what I ordered.....
A pack of 30 sheets of a Japanese style nail art water decals;
A pack of 12 sheets black and white tiger nail water decals;
A pack of 5 sheets Japanese Geisha Girls nail water decals.
one sheet of cats 3d nail sticker decal (free)

The pack of 30 sheets of a Japanese style nail art water decals

WARNING - Picture Heavy!
This pack is from a choice of 57 styles available from the seller.  This is my selection.  The stickers range from Christmas, animals, retro designs, pastel colour, vibrant colour, various flowers, musical, butterflies, water colour. Anyone want to guess how much this set cost?  Let me know in the comments. :)

Ruler and |Penny to show you size of decal and patterns.

A pack of 12 sheets black and white tiger nail water decals

I love this design and have wanted it for ages.  I looked on the well known bidding/buying site and I could not justify paying £1.50 to £2.00 for one sheet!  So when I saw these for the price, I had to have them.  Just a note to add here, the seller was great, she only had 11 of this style in stock and was kind enough to email me to let me know and asked me to choose another decal to make up the 12.  I chose the Big Cats Tigers Leopards Cheetah Print as my 12th decal.  Want to guess how much I paid for 12?

A pack of 5 sheets Japanese Geisha Girls nail water decals

Now, I ordered these as, again they were much cheaper here than the above mentioned site.  I had bought a set (the black pack) a few months ago thinking that it was these same decals.  But when they came they were the much smaller ones. (I have a manicure with the smaller ones still to share).  I had to get these the larger ones.  Guess the price for 5 packs?

I will see if you can guess how much I paid for each pack/total.  I will reveal all by the end of the weekend.
I can't wait to use these, but there are so many, where do I start???  I am sure my daughter will help me out. I also have another order from AliExpress from another seller still to come in the next few days. Hopefully I will be able share that with you soon.  Happy Weekend and Happy Manicuring. x

GOT Polish Challenge - Week 3 - Blue Dainty French

It is week 3 and the theme is Blue in the (Golden Oldie Thursday) GOT Polish challenge over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts.
I have had to cut and file back my nails as they were breaking left right and centre.  I also re-shaped them. So what better than to do this dainty little french manicure.  I have had the blue in my stash for yonks and I absolutely love it.
A rare picture of my right hand!
